June 2010 BSDC Newsletter

Like the song goes.."Summer's here and the time is right, we'll be driving

in the streets;" well unless you can make your horse dance, then you can
be dancing in the streets. Warn weather at last. Thank goodness! I hope
everyone is ready.
On May 8th we had our very first drive of the year. This was held in Hepburn,
Oh. This was alot of fun. This was on the Yost/Geingrich farm. We learned
alot on how the Amish live, their jobs on the farm and also sat along side
one another and had lunch. Despite the very high winds and the cold rain,
it was a good day. The sun came out for a bit. Julie and Angie both brought
their horses and hitched up for a drive. Some of us stayed behind and
visited or went on the drive in our cars. But all in all it was a fun time. Thank
you Higgins family.
We have so much going on this year, that if you get bored, then I don't
know what else to say.

be lots of games to play and things to do.I missed this one last year, so
I am hoping to get to it this year.

to the Corral for the latest.
